I Like It Gold

I Like It Gold

E proposed with the most perfect ring I could of ever imagined…1940′s antique, miner cut diamond, inset…love her!

Icing on the cake 1940′s rings weren’t designed for wedding bands…this lucky girl gets a 2nd amazing ring!

The send one hold a special place in my heart as it was my amazing mother’s mom’s! It was so tarnished ma and I were convinced the diamonds were lost! Amazingly when the jeweler cleaned and sized the ring all diamonds were there in their sparkling glory!

Love them both and can’t wait to wear them!

Because Some Things Are Worth Faking

Because Some Things Are Worth Faking

Who doesn’t love a wrap bracelet, and I’m obsessed with arm candy these days! Tonight was my first attempt at a Chan Luu inspired bracelet (because as much as I love them I am not at the $200 for a bracelet stage in my life)! So until I get there this will have to do…

I opted for contrasting gold wire instead of brown thread on this one for a little extra pop, and because I’m a gold girl at heart!

Lovin’ Me Some Sate Fair

Lovin’ Me Some Sate Fair

Because some things are just as amazing as an adult!

E and I headed to the state fair tonight filled with fried pickles, sea lions, funnel cakes, ferris wheels, the Zipper, and some sweet sweet summer air!

First fried pickle of my life DONE & DONE! Not as good as Snooki says it is but still pretty bangin!

I think there is a reason most people stop riding the Zipper after the age of 12. Straight ill and scariest ride EVER….but oh so AMAZING! Pretty sure that thing could fall apart at any second!

Ferris Wheelin’ with my man!

That one’s for you Tanner J! Think there may be an upgrade in your future!

Sheds, & Roofs, & Really Small Gates

Sheds, & Roofs, & Really Small Gates

Came home from work to this site…pretty sure we learned in the 3rd grade that a round peg doesn’t fit in a square whole…but I guess that’s what we do as adults…continue to test the logic we’ve known our whole lives!

Project out with the old shed in with the new is officially underway!
